You sit at your PC all day, yet you still post sticky yellow notes all over the screen to remind you of important appointments etc. It's messy, expensive, old-fashioned, and you can't back up your notes unless you photocopy them. Sure, programs that put electronic sticky yellow notes on your screen are available, but they're big and clumsy.
Windows 95's Notepad program sounds like the ideal solution to keep open on your desktop all the time. But it doesn't save its position Between sessions, so if you move and resize a NotePad window so that it fits neatly next to your desktop icons, next time you load NotePad you'll have to re-position it all over again!
DeskPad is the solution to your problems. It's tiny (60 KB), and it retains its screen position and its window size between sessions. It even has a stay-on-top feature. Just put it in your StartUp group and forget it.
DeskPad is freeware. You can't sell it, but you're welcome to use it. Even in a commercial environment.
